MeMo 911

In school I seen paintings based on how people though about 9/11 (Feelings, emotion, and how they pictured it on being). Then I had to go to Memo P.S.1 museum to see the 9/11 show and pick an exhibit to compare it to. The painting I seen in laguardia college was in the stair case, and its a painting of a person in a grave and strings of grass hanging from the painting. When I walked in the museum a saw a similar sculpture. It was in a room by its self blocked off as if you cant walk in. It was like a little stand with a mirror and lights around the mirror. It seemed as if all the belongings of the person was left alone to symbolize the lost of them. Both pictures show a love one gone and the sadness of losing one. Both of these pieces of art was able to show me how they feel about the whole situation and how they went about showing it.
